Please Yourself

I feel like a whirling dervish. No scrap that, I feel like (am?) a maniac. Whirling dervishes are relaxed and contemplative. It's not Christmas that's turned me into a maniac, although that's enough to send anyone over the edge what with all the shopping, wrapping, listing, cleaning and and and. No, I have gone into hyper drive by trying to keep a toddler entertained, look after a baby, play at domestic goddess and continue with some interesting coaching/worky things. Gossard asked me to get involved with their "Please Yourself" campaign (about female masturbation habits - see the site and take part in the 'Big M' survey) and The Vitality Show have invited me to take an expert slot at next year's show and do some media work promoting it. All jolly good fun and right up my street but to achieve all this requires me to squeeze every last drop out of the day and be slightly manic. I wouldn't have it any other way though. As I said to someone yesterday, rather too busy than not enough to do. Being underworked is stressful you know. Joking aside, I know what's good for me and when enough is enough. Best friends and exercise never get marginalised. Neither does the toddler, he makes sure of that. As for the baby, she just watches with a knowing look in her eye. Happy Christmas one and all.
